Shifting Sands: a Communal Group Exhibit - Participation Panel
The Fishbowl invites artists of all backgrounds, ages, mediums, and experience levels to participate in our second communal show: “Shifting Sands”, showing from September 7th - September 29th, 2023. This inclusive and empowering exhibition aims to engage the community, break down barriers, and honor the countless transitions and new beginnings that occur.
Our quarterly communal exhibits help us raise money to pay rent for the quarter, allowing us to keep our doors open to the community. Every panel purchased or donated helps!
You will receive a 12x12” wood panel which serves as a blank canvas for this month’s theme. Join us Sunday afternoons from 1pm to 4pm for Co-create Café to work on your panel with fellow creatives! (Co-create Café is a free, weekly drop in art sesh for folks to connect, create, and nom on snacks.)
Sliding Scale:
QTBIPOC Low Income $10 - this helps us pay for the raw material which are provided for artists
QTBIPOC Discounted $25 - let’s meet in the middle and help each other out!
QTBIPOC Full Price $50 - for those that are able and wish to contribute more!
Allies and Accomplices $50 - 80% of this goes directly into our programming and/or rent so we can keep doing what we do.
Allies & Pay it Forward $100 - You get a panel, and you gift a panel so that a QTBIPOC Low Income community member can participate for free, all while helping to keep our doors open. Thank you so, so much!
