Workshops: Share your skills

We are seeking engaging, inspiring, and educational experiences that resonate with and support the diverse voices and needs of our community. Read below on how to share your skills and apply.

As a workshop facilitator at The Fishbowl, you will receive 70% of the workshop sales, with the remaining 30% supporting the operational costs of the gallery and our ongoing community programs. The Fishbowl will handle all scheduling, class registration, and support on your behalf.

In certain cases and at our discretion, The Fishbowl may be able to help provide materials and equipment for your workshop. However, facilitators should plan to provide their own materials for attendees or provide a supply list that The Fishbowl can send out upon workshop registration.

To submit a proposal for a workshop, class, or event, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to thefishbowlseattle@gmail.com with the subject line "The Fishbowl - Workshop Proposal."

  2. Include a brief introduction of yourself, your background, and your experience as an educator, creative, or cultural worker.

  3. Provide a detailed description of your proposed workshop, class, or event, including its title, objectives, target audience, price, duration, and any preferred dates or scheduling preferences.

  4. Specify the materials and equipment needed for the workshop, as well as any requirements for attendees to bring their own supplies. If you have a supply list for attendees, please attach it to your email.

  5. Attach a CV or resume highlighting your relevant experience, as well as links to your website or social media accounts, if applicable.

Proposals will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and our team will respond within [time frame, e.g., 2-4 weeks] to discuss next steps if your proposal is selected.
