Artist Bio:

Lily Love is a paper-based artist in Tacoma, Washington. She has used paper collage as a creative & expressive outlet since childhood and found a new love & appreciation for the medium during the COVID-19 Pandemic. While living in solitude, she used paper collage as a way to bridge the feelings of longing & missing with actual creation, often making portraits of friends doing activities together. Lily Love recently graduated from the University of Washington with a Master’s in Museology where she created “PaperSpace: An Experience to Take Home” as her graduating thesis. PaperSpace is a pop-up paper arts based makerspace that encourages the learning of new skills in a communal setting and has been hosting monthly makerspaces at Slip Gallery in Belltown.
